If You’re Driving
The Lotus Tree is situated on the D901 between Bagnols-sur-Cèze (23km away) and Barjac (10km away). For your GPS, our full address is: 592 Route de Barjac, 30630 Montclus. Some SatNavs prefer the French name of our house: La Micocoule – so try both. It’s worth bearing in mind there are two Montclus’s in the south of France. Our Montclus is located in the département of the Gard (30). Arriving by car from the north, exit the A9 motorway at junction 19, Bollène, and follow signs for Pont St Esprit and then Barjac.
Catching The Train
Our nearest mainline station is Avignon TGV where all the main car rental companies are represented. Allow around 1hr from the station to reach us. Avignon Centre station is not the same station as Avignon TGV and is located in the city centre as the name suggests.
Catching The Plane
Our nearest airports are Nîmes, Marseille and Montpellier and between all three you can reach us from just about anywhere. Destinations change regularly but the main airlines to check are Ryanair and easyJet. Flag carriers such as British Airways, KLM and Lufthansa only operate from Marseille.
